My recipes for homemade hair masks and hair rinses

Moisturising and nourishing hair mask – recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe skinned avocado,
  • transparent food foil,
  • towel.

Preparation: I remove the pit from the fruit and use either a fork or blender to mash the flesh. Then, I apply the pulp to my head and massage it into the scalp and hair. After that, I wrap my head with the foil and a towel. I let the avocado sit on my hair for approximately 40 minutes. Finally, I rinse my hair with water thoroughly and wash it using a regular shampoo.

Hair regenerating mask – recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 egg yolks,
  • 2 Tbsp. of olive oil or 1 bottle of castor oil,
  • 1/2 lemon juice,
  • transparent food foil,
  • towel.

If your hair is long, you must double the ingredients except lemon juice.

Preparation: I combine all the ingredients and I apply them to my hair. Then, I wrap them with food foil and a towel (or put on a woollen hat). Next, I leave the mask on hair for at least a half an hour, but the longer the better. At the end, I rinse the mask with lukewarm water and wash the hair with a regular shampoo.

Hair strengthening mask – recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 package of baker’s yeast,
  • 2 Tbsp. of milk,
  • transparent food foil,
  • towel.

Preparation: I warm up yeast and milk in a small pot until the milk gets dense. Then, I apply the mask to my non-washed hair by massaging it into scalp and strands. At the end, I wrap the head with foil and towel. In order to intensify the action delivered by this mask, you can get into a hot bath and stay there until you rinse the mask. Of course, there is no need in wrapping the head with foil and towel if you decide to use the bath option.

Hair rinse for blonde hair – recipe

  • 3 bags of chamomile tea,
  • grey soap, you can use lotion grey soap.

Preparation: I brew chamomile in 250 ml of water and leave it covered by approximately 8 minutes. While the infusion is getting ready, I wash my hair with grey soap. After 8 minutes passing by, I mix chamomile with a litre of pre-boiled and cooled down water. Then, I rinse my hair with the mixture. This hair rinse intensifies my blonde reflexes and moisturises the strands.

Hair rinse for dark hair – recipe

Ingredients:
